Occupation Poet Years active 1939–1997 Kavi Pradeep (6 February 1915 – 11 December 1998), born Ramchandra Narayanji Dwivedi, was an Indian poet and songwriter who is best known for his patriotic song written as a tribute to the soldiers who had died defending the country during the.
